Both Eastern games were good last night. My East predictions:

PIT in 7
MTL in 6 (gonna be tough to do after last night)
WAS in 5
OTT in 7

Leafs win in 2OT, 4-3 to even the series 1-1 going back to Toronto!:bliss::yess::clap::woot::whew::hi5: :veryhappy:

The Leafs game was exciting. The young Leafs are holding their own against a solid Caps squad. The leafs could be up 2-0 (so could Caps) hard to believe the leafs are playing so well.

I think the Leas are going to be a beast in a few years...not saying they can't beat the Caps or even go further but their youth are only going to get better. Matthews is probably going to be the captain soon...And Kapanen looks like the real deal

The Leafs are playing with house money right now so all the pressure is on the Caps. Beating them at home last night with a team full of rookies and a depleted blue line was massive and the boys will have lots of confidence going into Game 3 at home.

Going in to the playoffs as huge underdogs I only had one hope: win at least a couple of games and don't get swept in the first round. If we can win another one (or two) at home and push this series to six or seven games it'll be great experience for the kids. If we can find a way to beat them... Oh what a story that would be :D

pittsburgh looks great so far, Crosby playing his game and Fleury playing outstanding between the pipes

Holy cow that Caps game was awesome even though they lost. At least the right Leaf got the GWG.

On another note, Ovechkin, Matthews and Nylander have a combined 1 point. Rinne has 2.

Anyone see Werenski's face after he took a puck to the face(And he wears a visor as well which didn't help)? He came back to play the 3rd but then his eye was swollen shut so he missed overtime. He's done for the season with a facial fracture and first thing he says to Torts was he was disappointed that he can't play game 4. Foligno said he went up to him and said he was proud to have him as a teammate.

No worse then that piece of garbage Orpiks hit on Polak except our guy isn't coming back and we didn't even get a power play for it.
