I noticed the new 2019/20 Tim Hortons hockey cards are available. Set is 120 cards this year. Should be a lot of people chasing them again.

I've heard this as well. Maybe some stores started a tad earlier?
EDIT: Seen some on eBay after looking it up real quick. Looks like some people were able to get it early.

My local Manager gave me a heads up today they will be available NEXT Monday (23rd). Anything available now are likely pre-sales or "unauthorized" sales. I doubt any stores are selling them over-the-counter yet.

Some people find a way to get stuff early. I think I remember the same thing happening last year, too. Because of the type of the release, I'm sure it's not policed as hard, so things probably slip out the door a little earlier depending on when the locations actually receive their cards, if you know the local Timmies owner, etc.
I expect it to be availible at all Tim Horton's locations on the 23rd as planned.

The owner I know confirmed it starts the 23rd which is the Monday after smile cookie week

I don't think it's over the counter, either. But I do suspect some people do get their packs earlier through 'knowing a guy', etc.
