2022-23 UD Series 1 Case Break YGs Question

Hey Everybody,

I just wanted to post this question to the community to gather some feedback because I've received mixed reports.

If you have opened a case of 2022-23 Series 1 or watched someone open one, did you receive all 50 YGs in your break?

I have seen some people saying they did while others saying they were missing 2-3. Just wanted to see what the majority of the experiences have been like.

I did not receive all 50. I was 3 short and I had 5 that were in bad shape that I will have to send back for replacement. That was from a sealed case

I watched about 4 case breaks on Breakaway last week and I cannot 100% say for sure if all 50 were there or not but I believe they were. I can say that none of the bigger YGs were missing from any of the cases and no one was commenting about missing ones.

The goal is always to have 1 case = 1 set of YGs but since I've started at UD that doesn't always seem to pan out.

So your friend got 48 out of the 50?

Just finished opening a case and got all 50 Young Guns, pulled the last one I needed from the last pack.

We did 2 cases 1 was complete and 1 was missing 1 card. We have had customers that have been short up to 4 cards, but again no biggies were missing and bigger hits like a Matty B clear cut young gun.
On a side note I thought this was the most beautiful set yet. The pictures on the cards were nicely done along with the design, and I really enjoyed all the insert sets. THX Upper Deck!!!

In my experience anything older than 2 years yielded a full set of YGs. The last 2 years I've seen many cases that didn't pull all 50. But you still get 6 per box, on average, so you'll have over 20 dupes.

And as someone mentioned, not every box yields you a full base set either (although it was almost a guarantee it would a few years ago).

There's only 192 cards in a box... and 168ish of them base cards... how could a box yield a 200 card base set? I generally feel a box is a win from a base set perspective if it doesn't have any doubles in a single box... which I haven't seen this year, though I've only witnessed a handful directly.

There's only 192 cards in a box... and 168ish of them base cards... how could a box yield a 200 card base set? I generally feel a box is a win from a base set perspective if it doesn't have any doubles in a single box... which I haven't seen this year, though I've only witnessed a handful directly.

I have opened multiple cases and there have been boxes between 23-26 packs. Pretty bad quality control. Some are short of full set and some cases have 4 Beniers etc.
