Are the non-Bedard rookies worth 500-600? Not trolling, just wondering what they are really going for. That would be surprising.

when I posted this the bedards were $1200-1500. try putting a set together with the price of the boxes

And some cases will only have 1 Bedard, at $2500-$3000 a case ( a lot more in most places ) it was not that bad of a price.

Don't be so hard on his price. if you are in business - look at it this way

Cost of the product is to a store is around $160 per box - nine boxes perfectly collated gets you one set. Unless you hit a homerun with the inserts (and that is very rare) you are at a basic breakeven level selling at around $1,650 per set (assuming the price includes HST/GST). Is there value in opening this product with the hope of breaking even - the answer is no - especially when the retail price is $350 - $400 a box.

Myself - I opened 3 plus cases as I had presold 3 sets (at a much lower price than quoted above). Given that for me this is a business I know that I need inventory for sale - but no big homerun out of the cases - other than being lucky and pulling 5 Bedard Rookies, the next best card was Bedard Program of Excellence, and Young Guns Checklist Silver outburst. That is it. As I opened the third case, after each box except one the thought running through my mind was there goes another $300. But I do have inventory LOL.

Just my two cents

Steven
