To get my mind off of things I was thinking I stopped by the local yesterday and bought a jumbo pack of 2025 Topps baseball and hit the auto in the box of Wade Boggs. One pack and the hit was a surprise.
So I thought with Allure releasing I would buy a box. There was one box left from the first case on the shelf and with the new store manager he did not want to open a new case so I bought it. Hoping to hit a nice card.
Box 1: Auto was nobody special but I pulled the Impressions Nikita Kucherov, odds 1:1440 packs. I was hoping to hit a nice Bedard and I hit the base card of him:
As I was breaking I was putting all the colors together and the rookies in a stack and then a jumble of base cards.
With this results I thought I would try another box since the cost is not a house payment this year:
Box two: Another nobody special auto but I hit two Connor cards:
this numbered to 199
Again I put all the colors together and lumped the base cards together and left to go home.
Opened a third box and nothing special other than it had two autos in the box instead of one. Shane Pinto and Cole Perfetti
Once at home I thought I would put all the cards in order by number, rookie cards first since they say on the front of the card "ROOKIE"
then I move to the stack of base cards and I come across two that are NOT numbered like the rest!
Talk about a total surprise! I hit these cards two cards! Odds 1:436 or one card every 54.5 boxes!
