decided to try my luck with 3 packs of leaf best of hockey heres the damage

3 jack eichel rookie cards

first hit

1970 topps Jean beliveau psa 9



second one

09/20 ultimate collection sidney crosby ultimate signatures auto bgs 8.5



3rd hit

14/15 the cup john tavares emblems of endorsments /15 bgs 9.5

It is nice, but high BV is $10 (at least that is what it says in an old Beckett I have sitting here), so how much more value does a PSA 9 make it (2x's, 3X's)? How much is a pack of this stuff compared to the two cards in this pack? I'm guessing the Eichel would be a $5 at least for now? :rolleyes:

That's about the same return on an average box of UD product...people buy stuff to chase big hits, and you don't always (rarely ever) make your money back. People can bust what they want. I won't be opening any of it either.

Oh, I totally agree. I haven't open anything other than the odd UD tin for the YG's, in years. I can get some really big hits buying singles on the secondary market for my $200. I get the whole big hit, chase thing, but I also get the stupidity factor of it all, and that far outweighs my urges. What these card companies are doing is almost criminal. I won't support it. If others want to do so, it's totally their money.
