Because I’m working away again, it took me a couple of months to get these together since my last post, I got these 5 gamers since my last addition.
Let’s start with the Ducks;
Todd Simpson - this guy, I thought, was pretty under-rated as a fighter. Plus I really like this version of the Ducks jersey so I am really happy to get one of these of a good scrapper – plus this guy was in the Tough Material set, so that’s good enough for me.
When Jordin Tootoo left the Preds for the Wings I noticed a few of his gamers hit the market. Disillusioned Preds fans I suppose... the Preds loss is my gain. It’s a rookie jersey numbered 14. From what I have researched, this is a regular season jersey that Tootoo and he wore the #14 that season as he was unable to wear the 22 because that # was still being worn by then then Captain Greg Johnson. Toots, who had been wearing #55 gave that up to Danny Markov that season - by kindness or contract I don't know.
Andrei Nazarov spent a few years working his way round the league with stops in Boston, San Jose and Phoenix amongst others. While he was in Calgary he wasn’t that active as a fighter, but he was still a good guy to have on your team to keep the other team honest... maybe he kept them too honest and didn’t need to drop the gloves too much. The Calgary Flames “seatbelt” jersey;
Like Nazarov, Jim Cummins spent a fair amount of his career moving around the league, nine teams in all including half of the Original 6. Good wear as well... to be fair though, alongside the Hawks jersey I picked up this is a horrific design!
Bob Probert – no other words necessary really, but here are some more words anyway... very, very pleased to get a Probert Hawks jersey. This one is photo-matched to a fight too. the leagues ‘All Time Heavyweight Champ’... his words not mine – please see below;

Really happy with all these jerseys. Comments welcome.
