New Member, Must Send First,
A small portion of my latest pickup.
The previous owner started collecting in Quebec in 1969 at the age of 11.
He had a paper route and every penny he earned bought wax packs both hockey and baseball. He traded with his friends for a couple of years and then put the cards away after the trading was done. They were forgotten about for nearly 30 years. He received a phone call in 2000 from his parents asking if he still wanted the cards. He was shocked they still had them after all these years. He then sorted them by Beckett values and put the better cards in top loaders and the rest in album sleeves where they have remained untouched for the past 15 years. Some really nice cards in this lot. Overall condition is EX+ to EXMT I would say. There are 966 70-71 cards, and 512 71-72 cards. 5000+ cards in total with the remainder made up of similar condition 1970 and 1971 TOPPS Baseball cards and a few types of random sport and non sports cards like AHRA Drag Champs cards, Beatles, Monkees and Way out Wheels cards.
