A small portion of my latest pickup.
The previous owner started collecting in Quebec in 1969 at the age of 11.
He had a paper route and every penny he earned bought wax packs both hockey and baseball. He traded with his friends for a couple of years and then put the cards away after the trading was done. They were forgotten about for nearly 30 years. He received a phone call in 2000 from his parents asking if he still wanted the cards. He was shocked they still had them after all these years. He then sorted them by Beckett values and put the better cards in top loaders and the rest in album sleeves where they have remained untouched for the past 15 years. Some really nice cards in this lot. Overall condition is EX+ to EXMT I would say. There are 966 70-71 cards, and 512 71-72 cards. 5000+ cards in total with the remainder made up of similar condition 1970 and 1971 TOPPS Baseball cards and a few types of random sport and non sports cards like AHRA Drag Champs cards, Beatles, Monkees and Way out Wheels cards.

Incredible stuff, Dave! thanks so much for the show. I still have all mine from 71-72, but we use to play games with them, so no where near the condition those are. That unmarked checklist is worth a pretty penny. Dryden rookie looks nicely centered, and the Dionne, and Lafleur are pretty nice, as well. Awesome!!

Nice find! I would possibly be interested in some of the main rookies, Orr and Howe cards, Beliveau collectors card, Sawchuk tribute and maybe others. Plmk some prices on what you are moving. Thanks!

those are beauties for sure, I would be very interested in some of the ones you are selling, if you have a list for sale I would really like to take a look at it?
thanks
Jason

71-72 set has been SOLD! Thanks Rob!

Okay guys.
I'm selling the 71-72 OPC set. Missing 4 cards (141,161,203 and 252)
Scans available for the rest.

The 70-71 cards are more scattered with many doubles. Can't make a complete set from that one so will sell individual cards and lots from this one.
PM your interests and offers and I will send scans.
