anyone have any info on this stuff? i just came across a bunch of opened and unopened boxes. i actually found a dennis hull auto in a opened box and am curious to how hard these autos were to find and who else may be on the checklist. (i know dryden was.)

Aparently only 750 autos of each player were inserted into packs. These cards have the special swirl finish on them and Dryden was in there as well. I don't know what the odds were to pull one, but I have seen a couple of full sets on eBay, but I am not sure if they sold. I can not remember how many players actually signed for the set.

thanks. yeah i see that swirl finish you are talking about now. i gotta check ebay to see the others on the list.
thanks again.

There are 36 cards in the set. I've heard that autos fall 1-2 per case. I still need the Dennis Hull for my set, so if it is available let me know. Here's the checklist:

Vladislav Tretiak
Ken Dryden
Bill Goldsworthy
Paul Henderson
Bill White
Gary Bergman
Marcel Dionne
Bobby Clarke
Stan Mikita
Phil Esposito
Serge Savard
Yvan Cournoyer
Frank Mahovlich
Gilbert Perreault
Rod Gilbert
Tony Esposito
Dale Tallon
Wayne Cashman
Pete Mahovlich
Jocelyn Guevremont
Vic Hadfield
Red Berenson
Rod Seiling
Mickey Redmond
Don Awrey
Pat Stapleton
Rick Martin
Jean Ratelle
Ron Ellis
Brian Glennie
J.P. Parise
Dennis Hull
Guy Lapointe
Ed Johnston
Harry Sinden
Brad Park

The Pack inserted cards had the swirls, while the autographs that were inserted in the complete sets that you could buy from "The Bay" did not.

Also as an aside, I was wondering if this set has the only Bill Goldsworthy autograph ever issued as he died just a while after it was issued.

My best,

Ken
