I am always happy to be able to open this stuff since I dont see it too often around here. I am happy with what i got. Here are the spoils:

I'm pretty happy with the autos. I like both guys and think they will go far in the sport. The weird thing was, in one of the packs I didnt get a decoy or anything, just a blank white piece of cardboard. I think maybe it was supposed to be one of those booklet cards or something.

nice pulls with the bader and jones. those are the better autos in the set and those pulls are definitely worth more than the duffee/elliot/escudero/etc of the set that is often seen in box breaks.

oh and btw, check you base cards for the nickname variations

ie. quinton jackson would say rampage; gsp would say rush, etc

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked them and didnt see any nicknames. Are they pretty SP'd? BTW, do you happen to have any extra base cards FT or Sale? I want to complete the base set but probably have only about half of them. I also need some from rounds two and three if you have any of those as well.

Is there anything distinguishable about the nicknames base cards outside of the name itself (like foil coloring or anything?) I opened a box last week that Rolles Gracie sucked and I didn't pay much attention to the base cards while I recoiled in horror from how much the box sucked (I haven't posted it up here since I haven't looked at the cards since I busted.)

no the cards look exactly the same except the name on the front and the back would be their nicknames, in the case of kimbo slice though, it would say kevin ferguson instead

I suppose the card of Jacob "Stitch" Duran is not an SP either? And I was just thinking, I wonder if Darrill Schoonover's nickname would be what I think it is.

there was speculation if they would use his nickname from season 10 of TUF but i haven't seen one yet.

i've seen rampage (jackson), rush (gsp), hitman (martin kampmann), the dragon (machida), iceman (liddell), the axe murderer (wandy) and shogun (rua)
