A Classic!

Hello All, I dont post most GU pickups but I had to post this one.

Being a partial season ticket holder to the Washington Capitals I got the chance to go to the Winter Classic in Pittsburgh this past weekend.

I had pretty decent seats.

Since most of you know Im a GU jersey nut I wanted to do a pre-order for a Caps jersey through Meigray.

I pre-ordered the Mike Knuble as I knew it was possible he would wear the "A" and possibly a double patched sweater.

The Meigray sweaters were only for the second period and low and behold at 6:54 of the second!

After that it was party time!!!!

And then yesterday it arrived

WEEHOO!!!

I love those jerseys! It's a beauty congrat's! Question also, do the Caps do nameplates on their regular season jerseys or did they just do them on the winter classics?

They do them on all sweaters

I have the second period one, the one on NHL.com is the 1st period one.

The question is.. do I know go for the goal puck on NHL.com

By Double patched, do mean the A and the Winter Classic patch? The wings normally don't use nameplates, but did for the WC as well.

Yes double patched means A and Winter Classic.
