a GREAT week of pickups

Decide to turn some attention to my little Gretzky collection as I had a chance this week to pick up some major Gretzky cards.

Please allow me before you look to appologize for this needless and vulgar display of power, lol! :beer:


First up this was an upgrade:

I don't know how many are out there, certainly not many, but this is the first 3 color I've seen so I had to udgrade to it.



At the same time I picked up these 2 beauties:


The 06/07 Foundations & 08/09 Programme Of Excellence aren't my favorite years, design wise, but I guess as a result of getting my start as a collector in comics, I just feel the first year of any set is the best.

Then today I had a chance to pick these up, and I have wanted these for a LONG time:

My scanner makes it look a little red but trust me, it is a beautiful eye popping Oiler orange!
