I was wandering through the local Meijer and they had 4 boxes of 97/98 Pinnacle for 9.99 and were running 30% off sports cards so I figured what the heck. Was hoping to maybe hit a Mask card but didn't end up with one of those. It was fun though.
A quick couple of side notes:
It was really fun seeing names I hadn't seen in a while and wondering what ever happened to that guy, especially some of the Rookies.
The photography in this set is pretty nice. Lots of cool action shots mixed with some cool off-ice pics as well.

Well aside from the Hossa or Gretzky there isn't a better Artist Proof to hit than the Roy so that was pretty cool. The Osgood was cool too as it will fit nicely in my small Wings PC.
The odds were all over the place on this stuff. One box had the Selanne Epix, Snow Rink Collection and that was it for hits. Another box had the Lindros, Hasek Epx, Roy AP and 3 Hossa RCs.
Overall it was a fun old school break going back to when GU jerseys weren't quite mainstream yet, just starting out. Thanks for the read. If anyone is interestd, everything is available FT except the 2 Artist Proofs.
