I am not sure if this is really postworthy , but I needed to vent. I was happily shopping for UD1 cards yesterday when I came across a string of auctions with cards I needed. I went to bid and it came up I do not ship to Canada. No problem my brother in law lets me use his account for situations like this. So I go on a tear and win all 11 cards I bid on. Shipping is posted $2.75 and combines shipping . I get a bill for $15.00 shipping I know he is disappointed in the final price he received . I emailed him and asked if a mistake was made // NOPE he said I already discounted, 11 cards times $2.75 WOW. IAm I being a wuss here ?? Also Even at $2.75 for the first and a $1 each for the others is only $12.75 ? He said but you have to add handling ??WTH

I wouldn't be pleased either. However, unless he states savings on combined shipping in his auctions then he's charged you as advertised.

In combined shipping situations, I always try to get a quote on shipping (eg. 'If I win 10 cards, what would shipping be?').

Better to ask upfront than assume and be frustrated.

I usually do ask but just came upon the cards less then 10 minutes before my spree. And he has 100% feedback which leads me to believe he was just ticked at the prices. There is no way somebody didn't hammer him with a neg if he always does this

Complain to ebay about excessive shipping charges. If it only costs $6 to send them, and he charges you $15, you have a legitamate beef. $1 per card extra is excessive. Having said that, being from Canada, I was going to be charged $18 to send 11 cards in top loaders in a 200 count small box, so $15 may not be far off. Oh, and I took the box back, and put half the cards in one bubble mailer, and the other half in a 2nd mailer, and it was $4.66! Go figure?

If the seller is going to charge you that much, make him ship every one individually. Hopefully you get them all. If the seller sends it in one package, complain to Ebay about price gouging or something.

One thought: If he provides tracked/insured shipping for that, then while it might be excessive for those cards, he actually IS providing good value for the shipping charge.

If, however, it's plain ol' bubble mailer I'd neg his ***.

at USPS you ship a package less than 1oz up to 3oz, the shipping price is the EXACT SAME. So anyone that charges more than a dime for extra shipping (mostly for the added supplies), is ripping you off.

Yesterday I shipped a 4oz package that included 7 cards. 3 of them being 130pts+ Dominion cards, 2 jerseys and 2 regular cards and shipping within USA came to $2.02 incl. tracking. To Canada that wouldn't cost more than $3-4 without tracking
