I had a couple boxes opened by my LCS owner at the Toronto Expo. Got a couple sweet cards, including a Red 1970s Decades with Orr (sold), a Mikita/Hull/Esposito dual patch Green /2 (also sold), and this sweet piece :
However, I wasn't satisfied, as I didn't get a card with a real "wow" factor, or any vintage memorabilia... So I had Frank from 450 Sports open one for me, and I received the spoils today.
Although I stopped collecting Kariya, I love this card, as it is pretty much my favorite players growing up, and when I restarted collecting back in 2009 these four guys were potential PC options.
Yep, in 3 autograph cards there were 2 Larry Murphy...
I know someone who would have been very happy with that box though! ;-)
Sweet Robitaille /4, with what seems to be a piece of... Skate? Maybe Gregg can confirm that one?
Always great to get patches of these players. I dig the older Bruins patches.
So, some decent cards, but still sort of lackluster for a 400$ box... But that was the last card of the box :
I couldn't scan the card since my scanner was only focusing on the buttons... Stunning card, needless to say I was extremely pleased with the pull!
So there you go! All of the break is available, and I also have other cards from my previous breaks on eBay; I'll gladly deal with you here instead of there if you have any interest. As usual comments are also appreciated!
