Hey there! Although I'm pretty much out of the hobby, I still keep searching eBay and reading this board regularly. Today I received a new piece to my vintage memorabilia collection, and it thought that would be worth posting!
But then, as I was putting it away, I realized I already had a very similar card in my collection :
Oh well, it's not like you can have too much Vezina memorabilia I guess!
As for the second part of my title... I used to be a bit careless in the way I kept my more valuable cards... Sadly, some of those cards ended up pretty beat up by the sun. I thought that was the case of my most prized card, my Kariya Superlative Emblem... That's what it looked like when I looked at it earlier today...
Maybe it's not crazy obvious from the scan, but it was YELLOW. Since I'll probably hold on to it, I decided to take it out of the original toploader.
I wanna thank Dr. Price and In The Game for the quality of their toploaders. Most of the discoloring affected only the toploader, and the card itself looks much better than I thought it would!
Alright, back to my semi-retirement now! :-D
