A question about UD's Rookie Update set

I don't have a checklist, but perhaps someone can help me out. I don't buy packs/boxes/cases of Rookie Update so I have no feel for the product. Being a player collector, I would like to know if they typically produce just the rc's for past products, or do they do parallels as well.

As an example, Andrew Ladd has a Black Diamond update card. Will there also be a Ruby parallel? Emerald parallel? Gold parallel? etc.

I think it is just the base card, no parallels, except for a few of the SpX cards that do have Spectrum parallels. BD doesn't have any though.

no parallels,just rookies,exception being this year they added a few sp authentic rookies with autos for the rookies that were traded and weren't auto'd in the original set example being picard as i have pulled him twice.original was philly i think un-auto now he has an update in columbus ans its auto'd.after saying all that no gold no emerald and no sp gameused out of /25
