As a seller I've never ended an auction early but I would if someone offered me a ridiculous amount for the card. As a buyer I have asked a few times with minimal results in the person actually ending the auction. I don't have a problem with someone ending an auction. Unless it's a 1/1 (which I don't bid on anyway) another will show up eventually!
