With Iginla moving into 20th all time in goals and notching point 1200, I figured it would be a good time to do a commemorative show and tell. I was discussing this with Al and he raised the idea of showing 2 or 3 cards from each year instead of a top ten. I encourage any other members to post their favourite Iginla cards as well. When Chris sent me a pm suggesting a thread to celebrate 1200 points for Iggy I thought that was a great idea. At least until I looked at the mountain of boxes and binders. :whatthehell: :laugh: Well here's a start. Here's where things get interesting, as we see more patches and group player cards making an appearance, and new series (eg. The Cup, UD Black, Panini, etc.) showing up as well. Some of these cards were chosen because of their rarity, but I've also gone by appearance and cards that start a favorite series subset that has some longevity to it (eg. Inked Sweaters, Authentic Fabrics, By The Letter, Signature Logos, etc.) My apologies for some of the large scans, I went with what was already in my bucket instead of re-scanning everything.

Well Chris, here's our 1200 point celebration. Guess I got a little carried away, didn't realize I'd have so many scans when I started this. High end Iginla cards are becoming scarce in more ways than just by the number on the card. This year, for the first time since I started collecting, SPGU didn't have even 1 Iginla card. Something to remember, since the lockout Iggy is 2nd in goals scored (behind Ovy) with 297.

I love Iggy, I guess I will show mine, not as good as the rest but still, these are cards that are dear to me because of the chase, especially the nash/iggy, took me forever to get one
