For this card I was looking for 3 years, and never seen any signature patch of Peter Bondra ... for me is Peter best player in history of Slovak hockey, so today I had late Christmas :)

that's awesome. Congrats on landing that Bondra auto patch. I remember Bondra well, he was pretty exciting and whenever he scored (which in his prime was often) the sirens would go off at the Cap's home arena.

ps. Big game for Halak tonight...very big. If he wins he will be a hero in Quebec and may force the Habs hand to trade Price....that's a big IF though.

In the meantime I am enjoying your sick cup patches.
 
Bondra has one of the best autos ever and that patch makes the card that much better. Congrats on landing that whale!
 
Those 01/02 SPGU Signed Patches were tougher than people think. It took me 2 years to find the Thornton. Easily the best year for SPGU.
 
I seem to remember when those were released they went for some serious (Bondra serious) dough.....

And if memory serves me right, wasnt Peter himself tracking down a few of those and other cards of his....


Might be totally off, either way Nice Additions!! :)
 
Congrats on the Bondra! I find the longer you hunt for a whale, the more fun it is when you land it, and that's a great looking card to boot.

As for the Halaks, your timing is excellent. I bet you could flip them today for twice what you paid (or value traded) to get them.
