Well today I had off from school, so I thought, "why not go to a Caps practice?". Well my adventure began at 8 am looking for sharpies in my messy drawers... I left the casa at 9 to get me there by 10 so I can catch players walking in to get some autos on my mini helmet. I usally get a bunch of autos from the caps but this time....ALOT of the players didnt have practice considering they had a game last night...:|

I sat through a great practice watching the prospects practice such as Cody Eakin, Mathieu Perreault, Dmitry Orlov, Neuvy, etc..

SO as they start walking off the ice, i rush out the door to wait and get a couple of there autos for the mini helmet.

The first player to walk out is Jeff Schultz. He was a really nice guy and signed for pretty much everyone there. He was signing for almost ten minutes!

Secondly, People were flooding down the stairs. I happened to be one of those people to catch a glimpse and beautiful auto of Michal Neuvirth.
Right after I get Neuvys auto, I walk up the stairs and out walks a couple little kids, BUT right behind them walks out Mike Knuble who wasnt scheduled to be there but had his kids out on the ice.

above is neuvy, below is knuble

Now I waited for about 15 minutes and decided to walk back upstairs thinking no one else was left. I drive up the ramp and see a man walking to a red truck. I recognized him from a couple RCs I have of him. I walk up and get Jay Beagles auto. Has to be one of the nicest most fan friendly guy I have ever met. I had a 5 minute conversation with this guy until he had to leave.

After a productive day seeing future talent and meeting new players, I take a ride home. But before I get home, I take a trip to target to buy 2 blasters of certified. Not too much huge hits but these are what I pulled:

Iginla/Nieuwendyk Shirt off my back dual jersey # 99/99
Patrice Bergeron FOTG # 296/399
David Booth Mirror Blue # 13/99

Thanks for the look and heres to Backstrom for a speedy recovery!
