Well I got to spend 2 very cool days at the AHL Allstar game.. Was a blast. Fun not having a rooting interest just looking for fun hockey and that is what we got. It was nice having a home town boy win the MVP.. Lots of other canidates could have won it.. Not sure if anyone caught it but the player who looked liked they enjoyed themself the most was Salak the goalie from Rochester.. He punted the puck down ice after making a great save and was showing off.. Met alot of real cool people and got to chat witht he likes of Brian Burke, Ted Nolan and John Paddock. Also met most of the players and had a great conversation with Bryon Dafoe and Ken Danyeko. If you ever get the chance to go to this it is worth the $100.00 for an all inclusive ticket, and Yes that means Free Beer. :beer:

Was looking for an idea to get an item signed so I took a pic of the Pirates Center ice with the Logo and made it up into an 11x16 and got it team and guest signed. missed some but got some real cool autos as well. Also was able to score a Danyeko Puck a Dafoe puck a Nolan puck and a Subban puck.

Man I wish he was not a Leaf.. Real nice Guy talked to him about Kessel and the Leafs future.. He was not sure the Leafs would be giving the Bruins a good first round pic.. He said they will be just fine..

Really nice looking stuff. I love the center-ice auto'd pic, and the Couture shot. Ted looks like he's put some weight on since being in Buffalo.

SOunds like you had a great time at the allstar game.

I went one year when it was in Toronto but I didn't get the full package I guess. Just the game tickets so no meet and greet.

After reading your post I am kinda wishing I had done that. Did the players give you the photos or did you bring them along ?

I have so many Gerbe and Ennis Auto's already.. They are on the large group photo.. Have a pick of Ennis after he scored his first NHL goal with that inscription..

No I made them up.. Got most of them done at the meet and greet. Went the day of the game to the hotel and hung around with my kids who got there jerseys signed as well..

It was an amazing time.. thanks for the comments
