No surprise here, as the hapless 49ers finally make their pick of Utah quarterback Alex Smith. He should be a very solid player, maybe not great, but probably good for a number of years.

Ronnie Brown goes second to the Dolphins. Excellent fit for them, since they desperately need a back.

yays. I hope to god we actually keep Smith.

And Brown looked like he was mad to get picked by the Dolphins. :D When his name was called he looked like he was thinking "Why?"

for some reason, i am not getting into this draft, years past i would watch most of it, but for some reason, not this year--not sure why--kj

any orangeman getting picked????--lol--kj

Hapless Bengals, lol.

Cedric Benson is going to be great. You can tell by the emotion he has for the game and how he felt he was portrayed. Another excellent back for Chicago, following Sweetness, etc.

dherm - As long as we get either Smith or Rodgers I'm happy. They're both great.

KJ - There's only 3 Orangemen in the draft and they're not anything special. Late rounders should they even get drafted. :p

jch - #10 in the first round. #5 is on the clock now.

thats is what i thought, RBs ruling the day--kj

Carnell Williams chosen by the Bucs. Good pick for them, Cadillac should give them plenty of speed and agility on offense.

Troy Williamson picked by the Vikings. Good choice, he's extremely fast, should fit well with Culpepper.
