Alex Smith - 2005 NFL Draft No. 1 Selection

ditto... I havn't heard of him before but from the film I saw he'll be interesting to watch.
 
I'm so happy the Tratiors didn't take him... GB will be bad but at least it's not Oakland
 
Matt Jones, wow in the first round. This kid can run you to death. I can't way to collect his cards, Leftwich will have a good time throwing to Jones.

Agreed. I think that was a great selection by the Packers and Rodgers will get to learn some things from a great before he steps in.
 
Pats take Logan Mankins with the final pick of round 1. Not too sure who this guy is, but hopefully he'll be good.
 
What good fortune for Heath Miller to fall (sort of) to the Steelers at #30....great fit for the Steelers and the city of Pittsburgh.

Pack did very well to get who many thought a week ago was the #1 pick at #24...
 
Nugent in the second round! Simply amazing for a kicker. Although he may have been the best college kicker ever.

He's got to be VERY happy about that. He was projected to be drafted in the 6th or 7th round. Surprising pick by the Broncos.
