All-Time Greats Master Collection Redemption

When Upper Deck came out with All-Time Greats Masterpiece Collection, CnC busted a box and randomed off the redemption. For that particular redemption it was a Game-Used Uniform and Equipment of Scott Niedermayer.

Well I was able to secure a deal for the redemption and redeemed it. Just before I left for work this morning a package arrived at the door with all the goodies.

And lastly, not a jersey, but I got an equipment bag

A little disappointed there wasn't jersey, but all this was still pretty freaking cool.
 
Honestly, I'd be a little disappointed there wasn't a jersey in there too given the cost of this product and the hype around these redemptions (which were the large justification for the $17k price tag). Very nice pieces for your collection though.
 
Great pieces man!! If the redemption said "uniform", there damn well be a Jersey included...I'd be on the horn lickidy split!!

I figured the 2 things that would definitely be in there would be a jersey and a STICK. Everything in there is awesome, don't get me wrong, but the only 2 things that have the players name on them (for display purposes) are the Jersey and the stick, without that, to the untrained eye once it's on display it's just a pile of dirty old gear. I would be calling them.

The gloves have the players name stitched on them too.
 
Thanks guys, I had thought about calling when I first opened the package. I had talked to people at Upper Deck before receiving the redemption as to what might be included and they didn't even know themselves.

If you look at the checklist, I probably got one of, if not the biggest (not biggest name) redemption from hockey in terms of gear. Thankfully I've already got a jersey and a stick, they'll just be mismatched for the time being. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for 05-06 Ducks away jersey for now on. I've got plans to build an NHL style locker to display everything, so we'll see how that goes.
 
Not just the jersey, but where are the socks? And the elbow pads? What about the shoulder pads? This is more like "A random assortment of game used gear from Scott Niedermayer" than an entire uniform.
 
A truly MIGHTY show and tell!! It does seem weird to give you everything BUT the jersey, but who can complain about that haul! I'd have a mannequin in my sport room with all the gear displayed!
 
Nice gear, however, very misleading on Upper Deck's part here. The LOA says "Game Used Uniform and Equipment". To me you received equipment/gear, not a uniform. A team uniform in hockey would be the matching items a team wears on the ice for a game which would be the jersey, pants, and socks. The equipment or gear would be the non-matching items a player chooses to wear like helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, skates, elbow pads, shin guards, and stick.

If you are happy with what you received that's great since you are the one who purchased them, but if I dropped that kind of dough I would be a bit upset as I would have expected at least the jersey based off the description on the LOA.

Pretty sweet!!! Congrats!!

The jersey that was a part of the uniform was prob cut up into pieces for our jersey/patch cards....
 
The fact a jersey wasn't included sounds like the stuff of legal action. I can't imagine showing up to a rink without a jersey; it's part of the uniform.
