Hi everyone,
I bought a hobby box of 2014 Topps Allen & Ginter baseball.
I beat the odds (1:6,600 packs) and pulled an Amateur Ostelogist Card, which can be redeemed for a unique (1 of 1) encased animal bone.
It expires 7/31/15.
The fine print says: "This card can only be redeemed from inside the United States of America."
I talked to the hobby shop owner and he said another customer had pulled a butterfly redemption card a while back, and the card wasn't able to be shipped across the U.S.-Canada border. However, he said another customer had received a dinosaur bone card without any hassle.
Just wondering if anyone in Canada has experience with a similar redemption card? I'm tempted to redeem it if I can receive it.
If not, I would list it on eBay with the U.S. only disclaimer.
Thanks,
Bruce

Are you able to setup a USA address with something like KINEK and also mail the redemption from the USA side of the border? USA to USA to USA. Keep a paper trail for the CBSA guys when you go pickup from KINEK depot in a few weeks and everyone's happy.

Thanks for the info. I've emailed Topps customer service as well to see if a rep there can provide some clarification (ie absolutely no shipping to Canada).

Back when UD Champs had wooly mammoth bone cards I redeemed one and it was sent to me in Canada no problem. That was back around 2008-09 I believe, maybe Topps does it differently?

Thanks. My preference would be to get the card redeemed, but having trouble getting clarification from a Topps customer service rep.
I don't want to trouble a U.S. collector with having to ship the card to me.
