Haven't seen this mentioned on here - so thought I would bring it up.
Graphic Communications Group ( through their iCardz division ) is releasing a set in September called America At War : D Day card collection. The set focuses on the people, places, events and equipment of D Day featuring hand coloured historical photographs and illustrations.
What is most special about the set is that it contains within it Band Of Brothers Series I - featuring the veterans of 101st Airborne Easy Company.
Each box features a card with a genuine signature from one of the Band of Brothers veterans - including Don Malarkey, Bill Guarnere, Babe Heffron, Ed Tipper, Forrest Guth, Clancy Lyall, Buck Compton, Buck Taylor and Earl 'One Lung' McClung !!
As somebody with an interest in WWII and also the exploits and members of Easy Company, this set is something that is of great interest.
I've been making my own cards to get signed by the veterans and actors of the series - this will be a great addition to that collection.
Just wanted to highlight an opportunity to own a piece of history
