I know that this has come up a good bit over the years and there have been many suggestions from donating to kids charities (cool) to using them as fire starters (not cool). My thought was what about a team trade idea.
So here is my thought. I have have 10's of thousands for commons from 1990's and up, mostly in the 2020's and up right now. I pulled out all the Penguins and star cards, rookies etc. What is left is commons and semi-stars. I am willing to trade a teams worth of cards say the Leafs or Oilers etc in return for Penguins. So if you have 3,000 Pens I will send you 3,000 of whatever team I have of the team you want.
Now, the reason this works for me is I pay the shipping of my cards to you and you pay for them to me. Unfortunately sending bulk outside of the US will cost too much for it to be at least fun. In the US we can use the Flat Rate boxes and ship a ton at once.
I don't have things sorted by team right now, but if there are multiples interested then I will get to work on it. So do me a favor and post to this thread if you are interested and what teams you are looking for. BTW, there will be duplicates in these lots, but if they are your local team you can do something with that.
Any other ideas or whatever let me know, but I wanted to get something going and see if we can make something work.
