Yup... Adam is back with a vengence using pucksandcards as his new eBay ID. :rolleyes:

He just (probably) ruined a seller's auction for a nice Triple Auto from Legends Classics.

Bourque/Coffey/Murphy

I suggest adding this new ID to your blocked bidders list.

I really hope that IF he happens to pay for that triple... that the seller sends him an ALREADY REDEEMED redemption card. :D That would be irony at its best.

What's his full name and aliases? I've been getting email from an Adam who claims to be from the Beckett boards wanting my Legends Classics autos...

He e-mailed me after seeing my Legends Classics box breaks on Beckett Forums yesterday. Do yourself a favor... don't trade your cards to him. Even if he does come through... he is just going to drop the Legends Classics project after the next set comes out. :rolleyes:

You,know Jay,maybe we should all pool our cards together and actually complete a set for the sick kid.That way he will finally complete a set,get bored and start collecting Hillary Duff cards, or make some friends, or SOMETHING!!!!!
 
Aw crud. That seller is a good trading contact of mine too - we do good volume too. I'd better phone him and warn him.
 
Very simple way to end this... Find out which ISP he uses because hes either using AOL, Earthlink or MSN emails. Or his parents have many credit cards.. With ebay once your baned you cant use the same credit card again... Cut out both of those and you'll solve the problems... that is of course, he doesnt have friends with CC and those types of email providers..

Guys, I think I might be able to help out a little with the Adam problem. You see, a few weeks ago, eBay opened up a e-mail centre here in Vernon (I guess it's their version of a call centre as they don't do phone as their primary source). Anyhow, a mom of one of the kids who plays on my hockey team works at the centre, not to metion that the place is just across the street from my mom's place of employment. If someone can confirm that that list is up to date (any additional ID's?) and all actually Adam, I'll see what I can do in regards to getting the info into the hands of one of the "higher-up" employees, or any employee for that matter, of eBay. I'll be sure to let them know the story behind everything and whatnot. So ya, just LMK about that list, and I'll see what I can do. Hopefully something good can happen with my attempt.

Kyler - The e-mail and eBay ID information listed above is all accurate. This has been verified by either:

1. Adam using those ID's to win auctions of members on this site (they can verify his name/address).
2. Adam posting about his auctions on HI and Beckett... providing links to those ID's.

Feel free to forward that list on.

Thanks for confirming, Jay. I'll forward what we know so far to the eBay e-mail centre. Not sure if they work on weekends, but I would think so considering they works almost 24 hours on weekdays. If not, I'll get the info in this comming week. No guarantees if they do anything about it, but I'll keep you all updated with what I hear. Also, if someone has Adam's phone number, if you could PM it to me I'd appreciate it. Even though eBay must have it, it would be a nice thing to include just to make sure. Again, if anyone has additional info that they think might be helpful, just PM it my way. As I said, my mom works across the street from the place and a hockey mom on my team that works their will be within my communication lines at least 2-3 times a week with games.
 
I think that somebody has to contact his parents about this and let them know what he is really like. This would be the best way to solve the problem. Banning him from sites obviously isnt working, he will just keep poping up. I dont know how much I can do since Im only a couple years older than him, but if somebody knows how I could contact his parents, I will get ahold of them. I would say that this is the best way to deal with him.

Jake - This has already been attempted... most recently by Shaun (wwffan99tx). Obviously, it has not done anything to help Adam and/or stop him from creating new user accounts. It seems nothing short of getting this kid sued and/or arrested is going to help.
 
More importantly on this one, I talked to the seller and let him know he's likely NOT going to get paid....

I think it's time we just acknowledge that the dark side has taken Adam for now, and it'll be a while before we can even think about redemption.
 
Ya, I e-mailed him last night letting him know what I thought about him. This is what he responded back.

I am changing. I have made 6 deals in the past day and they are going out tomorrow!
Nobody is giving me a chance to change.


I dont know how much of that to believe...... 6 deals in one day! He couldnt keep up with one deal a day about a month ago.

Doesn't ebay banned IP address? I assume adam has an IP address changer and thats why he can keep getting to be a member, but if he had one wouldn't he try to get back on HI under a different name? Also starsfan, you know its adam when 99.9% of the time its a person with a new member logo spending that much money on multipule cards....
