He's a low feedback bidder who was interested in buying a high end card from me. I state in all my auctions that anybody under 25 feedback must contact me before bidding. He submitted an offer on one of my auctions, which I cancelled, but not before explaining to him that he needed to abide by the auctions rules. He responded by apologizing and advised he really wanted the card and would have no problem sending a MO via ExpressPost. I advised that it would be OK, seeing as how he was getting positive feedback from other sellers. I ended up relisting the card and he ended up winning it. He promptly sent me a message that the MO would be in the mail the next day. A few days ago, I received a slip saying that I had an item to pick up at the PO, which I assumed to be the MO, since he was supposed to send it registered. I went in today, and it wasn't the MO, and when I got home tonight, there was another message, via eBay from his "brother" stating that he had been in a car accident and would not be able to pay. Sorry, but that ranks up there with "The dog ate my homework" If you're going to pose as somebody else, at least make sure when sending them an e-mail, you don't have the exact same grammatical errors in your typings.....and it's odd that the accident was serious enough to keep him from paying, but he still had the wherewithall to get his "brother" to send me a message through eBay, which would require his username and password....
Bah...don't waste your time with this guy.....
