ANOTHER Horror Story - What would you expect from the seller?

My string of back luck continues.
I PURCHASED THIS ITEM on ebay Great item at a great price, but it arrived severly damaged. The item is described as "MINT CONDITION AND SHIPPED WITH EXTRA CARE" (the before pic is in the link above).

Here are the after pictures. The "Shipped with care" part equaled 2 inverted proirity mail boxes with NEWSPAPER as cushion and "Glass" and "Fragile" written on the side! Thanks alot. This item wieghted 12 lbs, so item was not packaged with care.

What should I expect from the seller. I paid with paypal. I DID NOT pay for insurance, but I DID pay for s/h which was $19.99

Man, that really stinks!!! He has perfect feedback, so how were you to know this would happen? Have you contacted him, just to see what he says?

The seller should've just stamped Break Me on it....

Gotta love the "MINT CONDITION AND SHIPPED WITH EXTRA CARE." Well, at least you are receiving something. I have been getting ripped lately and have to file a paypal claim and still never get all of my money back.

One reason I didn't buy insurance is because I would be covered in a paypal dispute and he had 100% feedback. He offered me 1/2 the purchase price of the item ($15). The funny thing was shipping via proirity cost him $23.85. Hopefully I see the $15.

Yes I got the $15 today...really wasn't able to put it back together AND cheap framing is expensive in SF =(

Yes, San Fran is expensive. The town is awesome though. Eat out in Little Italy for me or even China town, I love some Dim Som. Maybe somebody can help you out here, ask some members if they frame stuff. I would help but currently abroad.
