After a week of several important additions, I realized it has been a long while since I posted any new pieces to my PC. One card in particular I have been waiting a very long time to share so I may as well start with that one.
In 16-17 when it became clear that UpperDeck had acquired and was using an old orange and black all-star jsy for Yzerman i got pretty excited. :bliss: Growing up to those jsy's and seeing all the greats in them year after year they became my fav non :wings: jsy. So I did a little digging :stare: and suspected that the jsy UD was using was from the 1984 all star game which was Yzerman's Rookie year. 16-17 Premier confirmed that it was a jsy from that year and game. I knew I had to have an auto patch of Yzerman with some of that history. like I love old jsy's that have been used for cards, and to pin point when and where a piece of patch is from is one of the reasons i collect most patch cards.
Was really hoping that the Cup would have produced a Limited Logo Yzerman with patches from that jersey but they didn't (pretty disappointing)
However having this in hand a week after Premier was released lessened that disappointment :dance::dance::dance::beer:
Next up I felt like ripping some wax and a couple weeks ago so grabbed a couple boxes of SPA:

Next up this kid is pretty good.

And well never pulled an acetate RC before
Not bad i thought for a couple boxes.
Next was a couple eBay wins for two projects i'm putting together. First is a couple 02-03 Super Rookie tributes. love this set design and love getting these of the players i like. the Kunitz is the first three color i have seen and the Yzerman and Ovie are upgrades i got awhile ago.
And second is an addition to my 09-10 Premier Signings Triples set that i have been working on for years. not to many pop up any more so it's pretty slow going these days.
Happy to have added this one.
Next up is a major PC addition, when i got back into collecting a few years ago i really wanted to focus on hard signed triple and quad auto's of top ten players and one big one that i wanted was of Lemieux, Jagr, Francis. As far as i knew one did not exist, until my hunting online showed me a pic of a SP Authentic three's of them, was not even sure if it was actually produced, until last week when the first one i had seen was listed on eBay. I made sure to win it, even though the scan cut off a couple sides of the card so i didn't really know what condition the corners or edges where in.
Glad i took the chance, beauty of a card!:yess::yess::sniper:

it looks pretty good next to the oilers one from this set, wish UD had also made a Wings Three that year of Yzerman, Fedorov, Shanny.
And finally the last addition, which I feel my fav of the post is the one above but this card combines to make something pretty wicked so extra marks there.
When i got my Yzerman Monumental auto patch i had really wanted to get the second half of the winged wheel, but never saw it until it fell into a friends PC from which i'm pretty sure it will never leave. So when i saw this pop up I felt it was a suitable substitute :laugh::laugh:
