18 cards in the set, and only 18 copies printed of each. Where do these come from? It's almost assured that they aren't licensed.

...but not only is the set design a clear ripoff of 01-02 SP Authentic, here's the real funny part: Some basement-factory Russian hockey card set BEAT UPPER DECK in getting Samsonov in a Habs uniform! :p :p :p

I honestly can't stand 'em (Russian cards). Can't either understand how Beckett even can give some of those cards values. I say they all are made in some crazy commie scientists basement in Volgograd..

I love russian cards and their low prints runs ! when UD is doing a card /999, Russian are doing cards /16, hand numbered with beautiful fake autographs !

and I am not speaking about people who are asking 120$ for an Ovechkin E-RC or X-RC or whatever printed to 11 copies in black an white bc color is too expensive ! Of course, the card is also in bad shape, dinged corners, not well centered .....

I must start doing my own cards, looks like a great business !

I think a lot of the time when the card is hand numbered say 18/18 on the back it doesn't mean they are serial numbered it means it's #18 in the set. I say this because there is a Messier/Gretzky floating around that looks to be serial numbered #/30 on the back, but I can swear I have seen over 30 of them on eBay over the past couple of years....Mike

Print run, place in the set, they just try to get more $$
I think they are playing also with fact that we can't read cyrillic
