Just received an ebay card purchase in the mail today.
Not expensive.
Not rare.
But one for the PC nonetheless.

Shipping of $3.00 was more than the card cost.

The card arrives today in a white envelope, the card in a penny sleeve, no tape closing the sleeve, no top loader, no cardboard.

The card was not creased, but is a bit soft and feels like it was curled.

Now, I don't care if it's a 99-cent card or a 99-dollar card, the care in shipping should be the same for the same S&H charge.

I'm not going to leave him an unfavourable (i.e. neutral) response because he's one of those guys who leaves his feedback after the buyer leaves theirs. And it's just not worth it.

But I can get the word out, that if you buy anything from him, make sure you insist on proper, safe packaging.

The seller is w-anderson-1, from St. Laurent, Quebec. I will write him and advise him I am not happy, and suggest alternatives for the future.

Thanks for "listening" to my rant.

Michael.

Thanks for the 'Head's Up!' in regards to yet another eBay seller who just doesn't get it!

Sorry to read about the damaged goods.

I have had a few of those and they ****..:( Never thought about posting it but will from now on. Sorry to hear about that.

Michael, I couldn't agree more with your statement that shipping should be the same regardless of the value of the card. Unfortunately as Brian alluded to, some people still don't get it. No excuse for this sort of thing. If you charge $3 then spring for a bubble envelope.
Dan.
