Any Card shows in Winnipeg

Hello everyone,

I recall we used to have the odd card show here in Winnipeg, but I NEVER hear about them. Any Winnipeg people here know where we can find this information? I haven't been to one in at least 6-8 years.

Are they worth attending? Last I recall there were very few tables, and not a whole lot of new stuff.

Would be interested to know.

Ask Mike Bergmann @ Lower Level. He seems to have his finger on the pulse of the local show scene.

The last one or two shows I went to 2-3 years back, it was the same 10 or 12 dealers hauling in mostly the same display case inventory, plus whatever fruits from their recent case break of the month. I really used to dream of the day we would have our own "Ameet" (goals99) in the city who would be constantly BUYING lots and re-selling the singles. Lower Level takes in ALOT of inventory but 99% of it never makes it to the shows. My dreams were to find hoards of 2001 to 2004 ITG products but they never seemed to materialize. I think Lower Level takes in so much inventory, some of it still has never been sorted and priced to this day! He's probably got some sweet stuff in his storage.
