Any vintage collectors wanna help me out?

I found a 1981 Red Rooster Oilers complete set with the 4 Gretzky long haired cards as well as a replacement sheet with the short haired version. This set has been framed as a panel so it is uncut and I know the value is only in those Gretzky long haired cards but what kind of price tag would you place on this complete set

You are correct in that the value is in the long haired cards for sure. The set is not worth much, maybe $25, but the long haired Gretzky's would be worth about $1000 total I would say. They are tough to find in great shape. If you break them apart, I would be interested in one.

I’m just deciding if I want to buy the complete set and then separate the Gretzky’s and get them graded. They look to be in great shape but it would depend on what I could get for them. There is one PSA 9 asking 1500 CAD right now and I believe one psa 9 has sold at around 1000 usd in a previous sale.
