Yup, me too dude. I had 3 cards I have not won in the last 5 days because of the aforementioned BS phrase. I have bumped all my lead times a tick because of it.

Just glad it hasn't been something I REALLY needed.

I've lost 6 cards #/25 or less for my PC and I even bumped my lead time to 11 seconds and still lost 2. I file a claim and get credit for fee snipes, and I get a BS response fromn some drone in customer service blaming ebay. Mike

I missed out on a huge steal a few days ago on a lionel conacher cut autograph - It went for at least 100 less than I would have paid for it!

Ah well, money is OK also.

I lost out on a card I was looking for for 3 years because of it. It was a Bellows Foundations auto /24 that went for a lousey $20. I would have paid 5 times that if my snipe worked.

Yes I hate to say this I lost a Larionov GU Redwings jersey that went very low. I was sniping almost $300.00 over ending price and got the hammer. That really ****s!!!

Must say - I really don't feel sorry for you guys. The main problem with the way things are going now, with all of the tools, ebay should only have one day auctions - as all of the action happens in the last 10 seconds. Better yet, they should only allow one bid by a bidder in the last hour, that would then force you to bid what you are willing to pay - sure would make the sellers much happier (although this would force them to also monitor and pursue shill bidders).

Only my thoughts.
