Anyone do any deals with *jambalaya* on eBay?

I have an extremely high-end deal set up with ebay username: *jambalaya*, but he wants me to send first. He keeps his feedback private, and he is not yet a member on HI. He has agreed to sign up on HI and conduct the trade here, but I'd still feel a lot more comfortable knowing if any of you have had positive experiences with him. The trade is in the $170 sell value range, and it's for a card that is very important for me to acquire. Also, if you have any advice, that'd be great.

His ebay username: *jambalaya*
His eBay Feedback rating: 60, all positives; but they are kept private.
Again, I need to know whether or not you have dealt with him, how it turned out, and what advice you have for me in this situation.

I wouldn't touch a deal with a private feedback person unless they sent first. Those 60 feedbacks could be from 60 friends who shilled his auctions for all you know.

The trade went down the drain. As per usual, no one wants to believe my KG Slam auto sells for $150. I'm thinking of just puttin' this baby on eBay and rubbing it in their faces when it sells for $200+. Whateva.
