Hi guys! The lady next door asked me if I could help her find the remaining stickers needed to complete her grandson's album. She has helped my family many times when things were tough for us, and she is dealing with cancer, so I just have to help her with this. It's the least I can do. I think she has some to trade, and I am not sure who, or how many she needs (may only be a few), but if you can help me at all please post in here, and I'll get back to you shortly, when I get her list of needs/haves. Will also gladly purchase any of them with paypal. Just LMK the damage, lol. I'm not much help in this category, because 1) I don't collect any stickers of any sport, and 2) I have zero interest in soccer. :duh: I did do a hockey album for my grandson back in 10-11, and it was quite a chore. The white version seems really tough to find here. I have about 500 platinum traders + two almost full sets. I could possibly have all the rest of the stickers the grandson needs.

Awesome, I will be in touch with you, and the other 2 guys who have graciously said they would try to help. I finally had my wife talk to her tonight, and she's gonna get me a list together to send to you guys very soon, I hope. She said she needs quite a lot, so I may try to suggest a box first, then have you guys fill in the rest, but we'll see. If you guys can help out for the same cost, I'd rather give you guys the money! :D
 
I also have stickers available if you still help PM me, have opened 2 boxes and opening a 3rd this Tuesday and then will be looking for singles, will pm others from this thread hoping they can help me out
 
Hey Josh! I will PM you in the next few days. I finally got her list of needs yesterday, but because she needed so many, I talked her into getting a box first, and then once she gets that all sorted, I will contact all of you guys who graciously said you would help her finish her album. We live north of Toronto, and her grandson lives in Pittsburgh, and has no idea he's getting this album, so not a huge rush. I found out she was getting the stickers from, and she said she got some packs at the dollar store, and at the Macs Milk, which is the Canadian version od 7-11, so probably overpaying for them. Thanks everyone, I will be in touch soon. PS: she has traders, so those who are still working on this can shoot me your list once she's ready to go.

Well as whites I have for you 23, 27, 84, 173, 390 and 536. I need to know whether Platinums are ok before checking them. I have almost 1 300 traders there so there's a slight change I have some of the others there.
 
Josh, I finally got the lady's list, and a stack of traders from her last night. Give me a chance to sort through them before you order from Panini. It took me forever to get her to get me a list, and then she bought a bunch more packs, so waited for an update, and then because she needed so many, I talked her into ordering a box off ebay. After waiting for that to come, and waiting for her to go through that, she went on vacation for over a week, lol. Got her list, and traders late last night. I'll be in touch shortly. What is the whites/platinums you guys are talking about? I have no clue about these, or even soccer in general.
 
Okay, just coallated all her traders, and I have a PM into Hama with her needs list, as he was the first to respond to me. Once I find out which ones he has for her, I will message the next one of you in order of posts. In the mean time, please have your list ready, and I will see what ones she has for you. You can even post it, or PM it to me now. Seems like some of these she has 6-8 of the same guy? I remember the coallation being bad for the hockey one i did in 10-11. Thanks guys!

There's basically two versions of the stickers, white and platinum. The white is the worldwide normal version, which has, like you saw, an insanely horrible collation. The box I opened had around 130 doubles of the 500 stickers and a box might have only one or two of some certain country. It also is a very thin sticker and the version misses the SuperStars set.

The platinums were basically made so that rich countries would buy stickers locally and not from Internet - as far as I know, they exist only in Nordic countries and Switzerland. The platinums have the SuperStars set (numbers P1-P20) and they are about twice as thick as the white version. They also seem to have perfect collation, I've opened seven boxes so far and there has been exactly zero doubles within a box of 500.

The SuperStars set is like an insert set, but I'd say it is as common as those other stickers. I've pulled from one box 19 of them and from one pack three of them.

Personally I collected my album so that there's mixed set of whites and platinums, but most Finns seems to want only the platinums and the whites are very hard to find here - I still miss 47 stickers while having a couple of hundred doubles.

As far as I know, the only way to tell from those shiny stickers (like that Uruguay logo there) that which ones they are (white or platinum) is to check how thick they are. If you have both versions in your hand it's pretty easy to tell which is which.

Also, here's how Lionel Messi stickers looks like:

As you can see, the white sticker's back side has also lost its color already which is totally normal for them.
