These recently showed up on the Gilbert Dionne checklist on Beckett. Anyone know anything about these?

Hey Ken!

From Beckett:

1992-93 Parkhurst Parkie Sheets
These five commemorative sheets measure approximately 8.5" by 11". The sheets are individually numbered; the production quantities are listed in the checklist below. The sheets were distributed one per case as an insert with the various series of 1992-93 Parkhurst hockey cards. The players pictured are the players in that respective Parkie reprint series. The Stanley Cup Commemorative Update sheet was issued one per case of Final Update. These unnumbered sheets are numbered chronologically below for convenience in reference.

1992-93 Parkhurst Parkie Sheets Promo
These 11" by 8.5" sheets were promos of the 1992-93 Parkhurst Limited Edition Commemorative Sheets. The fronts feature color photos of actual Parkhurst Parkies. The cards are set against a dark green marbleized background. A thin metallic gold line frames the cards. The words "Commemorative Sheet" are printed in white over the gold line near the top of the sheet. Above this, are the words "1992-93 Parkhurst Limited Edition" printed in metallic gold. A gold or white oval at the bottom right corner carries the word "Promo." The backs are blank. The sheets are unnumbered.

1992-93 Upper Deck Sheets
For the third straight year, Upper Deck produced hockey commemorative sheets that were given away during the 1992-93 season at selected games in large arenas. Each sheet measures 8.5" by 11" and is printed on card stock. The fronts of the team commemorative sheets feature a series of Upper Deck cards of star players on a particular team and the team logo. The 1993 All-Star Game sheets feature a series of Upper Deck cards of players that participated in the All-Star Game. All the sheets have an Upper Deck stamp indicating the production quota and the serial number. Sheets without a production quantity number are listed as NNO. The backs of the sheets are blank. The players are listed as they appear from left to right.

I've got the 1992-93 Upper Deck sheets as part of my master set. Most of the sheets were dedicated to a specific team and given out at a game. The date of the game is listed on the sheet. But for the All-Rookie team sheet, which Dionne is a part of, there is no information on when or where it was given out. My guess is at a show? In any case, it's numbered out of 17,000. Most of them aren't too hard to find, and they won't run you more than $5-$10.

If you want to know more, when I was putting these together I found this website, which provides some great information. The owner was very friendly when I contacted him, and may be able to help you if you have questions.
