is fitness a new word for rum & coke? he seemed to be failing pretty hard the last bit with tronna, I didn't pay much attention when he was in florida though, I was just glad he wasn't a leaf anymore.

that last year with Toronto was definately forgetable. However it did lead to JFJs eventual firing. If Belfour had played better the Leafs would have made the playoffs, and JFJ probably wouldn`t have desperately traded for Raycrap, which in turn would have saved his job.

In all seriousness, I don't think anyone will want him. Too old and washed up. Should have stuck it out in the NHL, instead of disappearing into oblivion.
But somehow I remember he didn't want to play second fiddle and be a back-up.

Well, if he signs in say....Philadelphia, it brings them a Cup winning goalie and it gives him a legitimate shot at winning a starting job on a competitive team.
Plus, Emery and Belfour at goal - it's a recipe for something awesomely dramatic. Like Fleury-in-a-strip club drama.
