I found a card that I want on a Canadian site called Kijiji (sp?). Anyone used this site before? I am in the US so I have not heard of this site and do not want to call the person because of the large phone bill that would occur. Can anyone help me out by texting the person to see if the card is still available? PM me if you can help.

I've never used Kijiji for cards but I have bought and sold on it. It is like your Craiglist in the US. If you need me to text or call about it I can. Just shoot me the details or a link.

I wouldnt trust a stranger (on kijiji) to send you the card
Best bet is to ask someone (you trust) where the card is located to pick it and send it to you

Yeah I would have to agree, Kijiji is just like Craiglist in the US. Ive used it before to both buy and sell but it's always been local... I've never had to deal with something out of town. The site has no track of transactions done over it nor will they take any type of liability.

Being in Mississauga I'm sure there's someone on HI that's close, Ive noticed a large majority in Southern Ontario. If your still having trouble but its that good of a deal I would say spend the couple bucks and just call the guy and talk to him for a minute or two to get a better feeling that the guys legit or not before you send anything.. Just my opinions, could be a great deal or a bust being on a site like that. Hope it works out

Just a a little help item:

Check with your phone providor, both land line and cell.
Both of my providors have unlimited calling to Canada as part of my normal plan. Verizon is my Cell and Charter Communications is my land line.

I picked up a very nice PSA authenticated cut of Tim Horton off of Kijiji, he was from PEI, I'm from BC. it worked out nicely.

but as others said, email first, get good communication. it helps. alot :)

I have sold a few items here and met the buyers in person and had no problems at all. I talk in email first and then call them if I have to.

I've got some stuff listed for sale on there now, mostly Mcfarlane figures, and a few signed hockey items. I've done in person deals with 4 different people now, and 3 of those have bought multiple times from me. One guy is making his 4th purchase of me tomorrow night. I will tell you that the majority of the idiots who make offers on your stuff are low balling morons. Like I'm gonna sell an $1100 signed Frameworth Team Canada Crosby jersey for $300?

You can have them ship it to our store if you want. You can be at our store in around 1 hour. It takes me 1 hour in travel time to park at Joe Lewis Arena.
