Now I know Upper Deck is very very lazy and also very stupid. The picture they took of Kopitar isnt even in game action..Its during the pre game skate before the game. IM am so mad, another thing, Its not even during the xhibition season. I mean I was hoping for the regular season photo, but for god sakes, its not even an exhibition photo. The photo is taken during the Kings rookie camp games, where they played Phoenix Rookies in one game, and then San Jose's Rookie in the next.

How do I know this...Because Kopitar is wearing #52 and thats the number he wore in his first rookie camp game. He wore #11 during the entire pre season, and he wears #11 throughout the entire regular season...VERY VERY VERY Pissed at UD for this, This guy is gonna be a star, and they went and totally screwed his very first rookie card for Upper Deck...I hope your real proud of yourselfs UD.

Relax dude. As long as they get his number right on his higher end rookie cards, who cares?

And it's not like he's going to be signing the autoed versions of his rookies with the old number 52.

This happens ALL the tiem with UD, classic case was last year with Zach Parise. They had him as number 51 all over the place. They were even printing cards limited to nine copies (his current jersey number) and then had a picture of him on the card wearing 51.

You're right, Kopitar will be/is a young star in the NHL. A silly picture ain't screw that up!:p

Seriously, it's ok, breathe deeply.....ok, good....now exhale.

Much better right?:)

Yea Prime, you made me feel alittle better...BUt I just wish Upperdeck could've got Kopitar first ever NHL Rookie Card right...I mean all the other rookies are in game action. Even O'Sullivan has his #12 and is in a regular season game...Not sure why they couldn't get er done for Kopitar. I guess UD was just rushing and didn't put much effort into getting Kopitar in a good game action shot. Someone should be fired at UD for this...lol...(not gonna happen) But its a knock on Kopitar's first ever rookie. And Kopitar is going to be worth the most next to Malkin.

Rob

I'm with the majority here..

What's really the difference.

Jordan TooToo's YG has him pictured in a practise jersey... And I had the same issues with Alex Semin. I could spout off numerous examples of the #74 instead of #28. But hey, it's only a picture and hopefully the folks at Carlsbad will improve their choice of pics as the season progresses! ;)

Cards were probably already in production before season even started...so they had to use something for a photo.
