I think we all saw this coming who is golf fan. Arnold had really slowed his competitive outings in recent years to a couple a season but finally after Friday Arnold realized that he could not longer make the shots that people still wanted to see him make. Hopefully Arnold will still be out playing a few events but he wont be entered in them competitively. At any rate here is more from yahoo.com

Hope to see him hit the first shot at the Masters. The Honorary first shot. That would be nice to see.
 
I just hope I can still move at 77, never mind have to decide on stopping competitive golf! lol. He's always been a classy player though, tough to see him end it.

That would be awesome. I don't think I could play much, I would be asking more questions than anything.
