Artifacts Release date...???

that is what i heard however....... one of the other local shops is telling me that they were told by their "people" (show dealer) that is coming out the first week of November.

A couple weeks before UD1 works best for me....
 
It will be on the 28th at least that is when I am receiving my case. Just got conformation this morning.
 
Up, actually. The US price hasn't changed, but the Canadian one did. A month ago, the Canadian price would have been closer to $90/box shelf price. Now it's going to be $110 plus.
 
It will help you recover some of the interst you have been paying waiting for the product to finally show up.... LOL

Your friends in Chatham will be wishing they pre-ordered.
 
I dont think my cases of artifacts will see the light of day until the december show. by that time the price should be where it was at last year.

seeing as Artifacts is going with the " if it aint broke , dont fix it " attitude, we should see a lot of nice patches, low #'d parallels , and ever so popular rookie redemptions.

thats what seems to drive this product every year.

not to mention, all the new kids will have jerseys/autos/patches a plenty in it.
Price, Kane, Toews ,Backstrom, Gagner.

a lot of possibiities for triple patches.

Price/ Roy / Brodeur
Kane/ Toews / Hull
Backstrom/ Ovechkin/ Green
Gretzky/ Messier / Gagner ( lol )

either way, there should be some cool combo's and triples.

IF he buys from UD direct, UD is his supplier - there is no middle-man.

I checked the distributor web-sites and they still have Oct 28 marked as the release date.
 
just got an e-mail from my distributor on friday telling me that my cases of Artifacts will be shipped to be monday oct 27th. I should have them no later that Friday Oct.31st

this tells me the distributors probably have them in stock, just waiting for the official release date.

That's surprising -- the 2007/08 still sells pretty well at our store.

I haven't seen what the cost is going to be, but if it's what I'm estimating, boxes will go out at $119 plus taxes. That $15-20 higher than I was estimating when we preordered.
 
Hearing reason for the price increase is the drasctic drop in the value of the old canadain dollar. When we ordered it was almost at par and to by an american dollar on Friday was costing 25 cents.
