I think Colorado has a great system in place.... by hiring sakic and roy (both very competitive and passionate players) they have shown the city and their players that they are committed to winning and are breeding a winner.... the last few seasons have been tough now, but the timing of all this seems perfect.... now with some flashy high priced forwards on board, they are guaranteed to be fun to watch for years to come.... I am impressed with what they have done over the last few months, not only with their management, but also with their signings.... they have sent notice to the other teams that they are back and plan on being a contender for years to come....

Steal for the Avs. Duchene is their best forward (unless MacKinnon surpasses him) and would command 7.5-8.5 on the market, no problem.

Avs are still a few good dmen and a elite goalie away from contention but are slowly putting the championship caliber puzzle back together.
