I think Avery will help the Rangers our alot. Makes you wonder why he was sent down in the first place... was it only to rehab his injured shoulder? Either way will be nice seeing him wearing Rangers blue on thursday.

his contract isn't long enough or for a ridiculous amount enough for them to be interested. besides, they prefer signing their own gi-normous contracts.
original reason by Torts was there was simply too many better players that he could use in more versatile situations.

Avery will not be playing vs the Ducks tomorrow. He even suggested he should sit the first game because of how well the lines gelled last game.
Glad to see him back though, I think this says it best "Goalie Henrik Lundqvist said Avery’s presence made things seem normal, and Tortorella used the word normal to describe the roster move". He was a fan favorite and locker room favorite, and he should loosen things up with the team.
Cant wait to hear the chants the first time he hits the ice
And after hearing what Thornton was saying after the sharks loss, it's no wonder the Rags wanted Avery back in the lineup.... For those who didnt hear, JT called the Rags soft (yes, the same Joey T who was traded for a bag of pucks because his entire fanbase said the same about him)....

I am telling you. I am NOT an Avery Kool-aid drinker by any means but Torts has to either let him play or tell Avery to void his contract (if he wants a shot at the NHL) or he can always go to AHL or Europe. But I dont see his career taking off with Torts behind the bench
