Back from trip..... with some nice mail waiting!!!!
I came home yesterday from a business trip to New York City. It had been a few years since I had gone there ( used to spend about a week every 2 months there). Abscence made me realize what a great city is to visit !!!!!! I truly miss the World-Class food and beverage that can be found in the multitude of restaurants as well as the nightlife!!! Of course the worst part remains the same - taxi's and the cost of doing ANYTHING - LOL!!!!!
First off - I did see a new record set for a trip from LaGUARDIA to Park Lane hotel...... after we arrived at 1am on Friday due to weather delays - our cab driver tried to make up for it by getting us to the hotel in 18 minutes. For those of you that are not familiar with New York I will let one of the 2 Board Members that live there make a comment - trust me it was FAST!!!
Second - I have not been to Montreal in along time, but I have been to Toronto, Boston, LA as well Miami and Detroit and nowhere does the everyday cost of things even compare!!!!!
Coffee in the morning = $3.75 ( no not Starbucks, just regular coffee), a Bluberry muffin with that.... hmm another $4.50 .... YIKES!!! Dinner every night was over $100 per person - well worth it.. but still?????
Still can't wait to go back!!!!!!!
On to some nice mail that arrived while I was gone.

When I was told that he was sending me something to compensate me for my trouble - my expectations were a little lower. WOW!!!
And last but not least - 2 more trades that came while I was spending about a case or two of BAP Ultiimate in the Big Apple instead of buying Hockey Cards...........
