Because it's The Cup

We all want to see our "guys" lifting the hardest trophy in sports to win and the greatest. So over the years I have tried to get a few cards of players i collect or admire with pictures holding the cup. i have failed mostly but have been able to get a couple.

Thought this would be a good time what with four teams remaining in the hunt for this Challenge Cup for all of us to share the cards we love of the player we collect holding the Cup.


Here are the few i have:

first up Bobby Orr. when this stamp set came out i bought a ton of stamps trying to get Orr and Lemieux, got three Orr's but no Lemieux. if anyone has one available for trade gimme a holler.

Next is Zetterberg from 2008. man he was a Beast the entire year and playoffs. So when i pulled this card a few years ago i was pretty stoked!

and lastly Yzerman. So many years watch him play, lead his team through ups and downs. So happy to have seem him Raise the cup three times.
i remember when this set came out and how guys swallowed them up at crazy costs, so many years later when a friend made it available for me i jumped at it.

So lets see em guys and gals, really interested to see what you have and why it holds a special place in your collection.

Well none of "my guys" have even hoisted the grail. Came sorta close this year. I'll continue to wait patiently. Couldn't be happier for anyone to hoist it than Stevie Y, except for Teemu and Raymond, those made be happy too.

That Yzerman Titlist is such a crazy card to own. There were people throwing around major moolah at those so always nice to see one residing at home with an HI member.
