Does anybody know how Connor Bedard's exclusive memorabilia deal with Fanatics will impact his continued ability to autograph cards with the Upper Deck Company?

For example, since he has now inked this deal, does that mean that we won't be seeing any future Bedard auto'd content in future Upper Deck releases? Can't imagine Upper Deck won't be able to have him sign a Cup ARP, but just don't know the terms of the deal.

Perhaps our local UD contact PJ knows?

PJ would know as he’s put in above, but to take it a little further and be a little more encompassing, I’m guessing ‘memorabilia’ and ‘trading cards’ are defined as distinctly different product lines in the purposes of the collectibles market. The Fanatics deal would prevent Bedard from participating in or signing an agreement for a product offering along the lines of what UD Authenticated does with their signed memorabilia.

Fanatics would have him for things like signed jerseys, photos, pucks, helmets, etc. UD would have him for cards.
